The Junior Crypto Compliance Officer (CO) will report directly to the line manager, Crypto Compliance Officer and undertake the following tasks:
- Respond to counterparties (correspondent Banks and VASP’s) due diligence requests,
- Advise front office on compliance matters regarding crypto, fintech and DLT
- Monitor accounts and transactions, in particular in/outflows of digital assets, investigations of detected issues
- Compliance key contact for Treasury & Trading regarding digital assets
- Assist with tasks under the responsibility of the Compliance Department
- Investigations and follow-up with relevant authorities
- Periodical review of clients linked to Fintech, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies
- Manage and maintain a list of monitored whitelisted addresses
- Participate and prepare in the onboarding workflow of clients
- Undertake due diligence on crypto clients and prospects
- Monitor regulatory developments in the crypto space
- Undertake AML Risk Analysis of digital assets clients
- Undertake periodical reporting on digital aspects
- Undertake periodic review of clients
Profil
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a Compliance role within a Swiss financial institution
- Strong knowledge in cryptocurrencies, local crypto regulations and industry standards
- University degree in Economics or a specialization in digital assets is highly desirable
- Familiarity with banking applications (Avaloq) and MS Office is beneficial
- Certification in Crypto Compliance is advantageous
- Residence in Switzerland is mandatory
