Description de l'offre
- Conduct in-depth investigations, from the simplest to the most complex, to identify sources of funds and the origin of assets
- Work with a diverse client base (early investors, protocol founders, miners, traders) operating in an environment that combines DeFi and centralized exchange (CEX) trading
- Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, Digital Assets, Relationship Managers) to develop reports supporting clients' compliance efforts
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to establish connections between wallets, entities, and individuals
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic industry partnerships to access new attribution sources
- Apply critical and strategic thinking, going beyond initial facts to drive investigations to completion
- Work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines, and act with agility when needed
Profil
- Excellent understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the operation of various blockchain networks
- Proven experience in financial investigations, with a strong focus on cryptocurrencies
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and investigating blockchain transactions for reconciliation purposes
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to process large and complex datasets, identify key transactions, and produce detailed reports on critical insights
- Solid knowledge of risk patterns, risk mitigation techniques, and policies ensuring proper client account approval or denial
- Experience in crypto analytics and research, with familiarity with leading investigative tools (e.g., TRM Labs, Elliptic, Chainalysis, Lukka, or other AML blockchain solutions)
- Proficiency in using blockchain analytics tools and platforms for transaction analysis
- Advanced data manipulation skills: expertise in Excel and advanced formulas and/or experience using Python (Jupyter Notebook) and/or R
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to pinpoint required information and documentation to validate blockchain activity and address compliance risks
- Knowledge of Swiss and global regulations (FINMA, FATF, OFAC) is a plus, but can be acquired if the candidate has strong practical experience in blockchain investigations
