Our client : One of the leading Swiss banking specialist in Commodity Trade Finance based in Geneva,

Description de l'offre

  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with Commodity Trade Finance clients, ensuring a proactive and high-quality coverage
  • Identify and originate new business opportunities within the soft commodity trading sector
  • Actively contribute to the structuring of trade finance transactions, in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and support credit proposals and reviews, providing qualitative and financial input to credit and risk functions
  • Monitor client performance, exposure evolution and risk profile as part of the first line of defence
  • Coordinate the execution and follow-up of transactions with internal teams (Trade Finance, Financial Institutions, Operations, Payments)
  • Participate in client due diligence processes, including on-site visits when required
  • Promote cross-selling initiatives and collaboration across departments to maximize client value

Profil

  • University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 7 to 10 years’ experience within the Commodity Trade Finance sector, with a proven track record in client coverage and transaction execution
  • Demonstrated experience in a front-office role within a Commodity Trade Finance team, with progressive responsibility in relationship management
  • Strong technical expertise and market understanding of Commodity Trade Finance structures and instruments
  • Exposure to soft commodities is considered a strong advantage
  • Broad understanding of banking products and services, with the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Solid commercial mindset combined with sound risk awareness
  • Fluency in oral and written English; other language being an asset.
  • Computer literate with excellent command of MS Office applications.
